We have worked on a three-dimensional (3-D) fabrication technology platform and its application to medicine and welfare. Our research project consists of some research projects as follows:<\/div>\n

Project #1 (Development of 3-Dmicro\/nano fabrication systems)<\/h3>\n

We have constructed several types of 3-D optical microfabrication systems using a femtosecond pulsed laser and a blue laser. To achieve ultra-high speed fabrication, a doughnut laser beam have been utilized for ultra-fast fabrication by modulating the phase distribution of the laser beam with the spatial light modulator. To realize a multi-scale fabrication system, we combine two-photon lithography with single-photon microstreolithography. In addition, we intend to develop multi-material 3D printing system for the production of functional microdevices such as optical elements, metamaterials, bioscaffolds and batteries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Project #2 (Development of a popular 3-D fabrication system and open innovation)<\/h3>\n

We have developed a popular 3-D fabrication system using a laser diode (wavelength: 405 nm) for open innovation. The fabrication system was introduced into Kanagawa Institute of Industrial Science and Technology (KISTEC).
